How we compare
Cheaper is not the point.
Complete is the point.
Ottawa inspectors typically quote $450 to $600 for a detached home. We are at the low end of that — but the number that matters is the total for what you actually need.
A $399 inspection that adds $200 for thermal imaging costs $599. Ours costs $429 with the scan included. And a $299 inspection is not a bargain, it is a schedule — to make that price work an inspector needs three or four jobs a day, which means ninety minutes on site and a templated report. Time is the product.

About pricing
Is HST included in these prices?
No. All prices shown are before HST, which is added at 13% in Ontario.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Not anywhere inside our service area — all 30 communities listed on our service areas page. Beyond that we will quote the travel honestly before you book, never after.
Is thermal imaging really included?
Yes, on every inspection at every price point. Most Ottawa inspectors charge $150 to $250 for it, which means most of their clients decline it and the defects it finds go unfound.
When do I pay?
At the inspection, by card or e-transfer. We do not take a deposit to hold a booking.
What if the price changes when you see the house?
It does not. We confirm the price in writing before we book, based on the listing details. If the property turns out to be substantially different from what we were told, we will call you before starting rather than surprising you on the invoice.
Do you offer a discount for multiple services?
Yes — booking a WETT, radon or sewer scope on the same visit as your inspection is cheaper than two separate trips, and that is reflected in the add-on pricing above rather than requiring you to ask.
